For the first time ever, three of Winnipeg’s most dynamic community art centres, Graffiti Art Programming, Ndinawe (North End Arts Centre) and Art City, are collaborating to light up the Forks for Culture Days and Nuit Blanche. With their respective constructed lanterns in hand, the three groups will unite and install their works at the Forks, setting this historic meeting place aglow for the whole weekend.

Janice Laflair and Tony Neu's "in Bloom" installation captivates with sound and form. Step into a dreamlike world where fragile jellyfish hypnotize and delight.

Twenty-minute guided tours of the entire store including stockrooms, the costume vault, the Haunted Bookstore, and the Theatre Annex Vaudeville Stage Set (with old time photo booth)!

Claire Hodge’s Bruce-O-Rama is an audiovisual interactive installation that engages with appropriated Bruce Lee fight footage. Triggering the various floor sensors will provide a rhythmic composition of sorts.

See a display of work, including “Migrating Landscapes” (a joint venture with Jae-Sung Chon, Canada's official entry to the 2012 Venice Biennale in Architecture). Check out a mini-exhibition of artist Galen Johnson and the Urbanink print shop in the lounge area.

The Exchange Community Church will be dressed to the nines for Nuit Blanche in a celebration of fabric. Come see this material masterpiece!

In celebration of its 75th Anniversary, CBC/Radio-Canada, in collaboration with the CCFM, presents a selection of Canadian films with something for everyone.

Simple, slow unfolding of a 7-hour, ever-evolving computer composition/installation/performance. Drop in anytime. Bring a cushion. Have a cup of tea.

Darren Fast invites you to “Behind the Image”, a live interactive photo shoot. In  “Carne Viva”, Alejandro Moras highlights the connection between food and art. Also on view is "Hatching", an aestheic symphony of colour in acrylic and oil on canvas presented by Roberta Hansen and Burgess Mertens

Check out the Royal River Rats Art Exhibit by University of Manitoba Students and nibble on Dessert Sinsations Cafe's Culture Days Menu featuring Cree Bannock Pizza with pickerel fish, corn and blueberry chutney and goat and mozarella cheeses; Deep Fried Polish Perogi with bacon and caramelized onions; and "Go Jets Go!" Wings to share. See you at the Colony Street Party in celebration of Nuit Blanche.

Epic Production Technologies is lighting up Saint Boniface Cathedral for Nuit Blanche! Enjoy live bands including Christ comtemporain, Janelle Nadeau, Deuxième Take, Tuesday Bloom, Joëlle and Mark, Les blés au vent, North End Jewish Folk Choir and Muses de Brême.

It's an all-night pandemonium of arts and culture!

- Gearshifting Performance Works: 9:00pm – 11:30pm & 12:00am -12:30am. “Landscape Synergy”, a work choreographed especially for Nuit Blanche by Jolene Bailie. Dancers: Jolene Bailie, Branwyn Bundon, Krista Nicholson, Christie Peters and Tiffany Thomas.

- ARTcadia: 11:00pm – 5:00am. Curated by mrghosty (Skot Deeming), “ARTcadia” brings together works by artists, hackers, musicians and game developers from Winnipeg and across Canada. Play games and dance all night to chiptune Djs.

- GroundSwell: 11:30pm – 12:30pm. Gyorgy Ligeti's Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano.

- WSO String Quartet (Principal String players):11:30pm – 12:15am

- Live music on the roof including a performance by Mariachi Ghost.

- “A Very Nuit Blanche Film Night”presented by the Uniter: 1:00am - 5:00am

WAFF is holding its 10th Anniversary Festival this November! See Director Taika Waititi's Oscar-nominated short “Two Cars, One Night”; inspiring short films from WAFF’s Aboriginal youth filmmaking project “Our Stories, Our Identities”; and local filmmaker Coleen Rajotte’s insightful documentary “Home Again”.

Join award-winning composer/producer Danny Schur (“Strike!”) for the outdoor premiere of his new General Strike documentary, "Mike's Bloody Saturday”. Screened at the very location of "Bloody Saturday". Rain or shine, bring a lawn chair.

Embracing optimism, desolation, and humour, these short international works reflect on the ridiculous, the textual, the textural, and the bizarre struggles in our interpretations of ourselves and our surroundings.

The Foundation Mentorship Program is a yearlong program in which senior artists share their experience with developing artists. Celebrate the works of the 2010/11 graduates: Willy Carleton, Jamie Drew, Kelly-Jo Dorvault, Heather Komus, Clara Kusumoto, Candace Propp, Wendy Sawatzky, Marilyn Schick, Janet Shaw-Russell, and Sue Sutherland.

Ten modern prospectors, including Mario Dupont, relive the Klondike rush for gold. From Skagway to Dawson City, the adventure unfolds … 1898 style.

Meet Dawn Chaput or resident Raku Artist, try your hand on the wheel, get dirty and play with clay...at our Clay Mish-Mash Extraveganza!

An evening hosted by Ben Clarkson and the rest of the Peanuts featuring a display of individual work and other nifty things! Prizes to be won and snacks!

Exciting Nuit Blanche festivities include a new installation by local artist Sandee Moore as well as two current exhibitions: “ندارد, دلِ نیست , دلِ که سوز” (the heart that has no love/pain/generosity is not a heart)and “Farandole”. Check out Stella’s newest location at Plug In ICA, open late for Nuit Blanche.

Momentum Aerial’s performers twist, float, and tumble through space with the greatest of ease and agility, creating breathtaking choreography that defies gravity.

Rotating variety show featuring dance, music and spoken words (including poets/writers Carmelo Militano and Debbie Calverely) in a cabaret setting. Start times at 8pm, 9:30pm and 11pm.

Filigranas, an independent troupe devoted to Spanish dance, blends sultry Flamenco and classical Spanish steps.

Presented by Numan Films and MTS Winnipeg On Demand, “White Noise” (directed by Randy Frykas and produced by Jeff Newman) explores Winnipeg's fifteen-year fascination with the ghost of a professional hockey team, and the team's unbelievable, inspiring return.

Illuminate the shadowy history of Victorian-era Winnipeg and enjoy a fun-filled interactive night! An intricately crafted scavenger hunt will lead you to discover the mysteries of the museum and its history.

Four Winnipeg artists collectively known as "Pixel" (Shirley Grierson, Micheline Girardin, Dave Schneider and Lawrence Rich), along with guest artists, explore how colour inspires music.

Join the ghosts of cinema for the closing party of Guy Maddin's "Hauntings I" - a multi-channel video installation.
