For the first time ever, three of Winnipeg’s most dynamic community art centres, Graffiti Art Programming, Ndinawe (North End Arts Centre) and Art City, are collaborating to light up the Forks for Culture Days and Nuit Blanche. With their respective constructed lanterns in hand, the three groups will unite and install their works at the Forks, setting this historic meeting place aglow for the whole weekend.

Janice Laflair and Tony Neu's "in Bloom" installation captivates with sound and form. Step into a dreamlike world where fragile jellyfish hypnotize and delight.

Twenty-minute guided tours of the entire store including stockrooms, the costume vault, the Haunted Bookstore, and the Theatre Annex Vaudeville Stage Set (with old time photo booth)!

Claire Hodge’s Bruce-O-Rama is an audiovisual interactive installation that engages with appropriated Bruce Lee fight footage. Triggering the various floor sensors will provide a rhythmic composition of sorts.

Check out the Royal River Rats Art Exhibit by University of Manitoba Students and nibble on Dessert Sinsations Cafe's Culture Days Menu featuring Cree Bannock Pizza with pickerel fish, corn and blueberry chutney and goat and mozarella cheeses; Deep Fried Polish Perogi with bacon and caramelized onions; and "Go Jets Go!" Epic Production Technologies is lighting up Saint Boniface Cathedral for Nuit Blanche! Enjoy live bands including Christ comtemporain, Janelle Nadeau, Deuxième Take, Tuesday Bloom, Joëlle and Mark, Les blés au vent, North End Jewish Folk Choir and Muses de Brême.

WAFF is holding its 10th Anniversary Festival this November! See Director Taika Waititi's Oscar-nominated short “Two Cars, One Night”; inspiring short films from WAFF’s Aboriginal youth filmmaking project “Our Stories, Our Identities”; and local filmmaker Coleen Rajotte’s insightful documentary “Home Again”.
