Celebrate the 4th edition of Nuit Blanche Gimli! The creative hub known as Gimli will offer unique arts-focused events throughout the evening. Join our cultural tour, create your own tour or take in a Canadian film and on-going events through the night. Nuit Blanche Gimli is about engaging the cultural animators of this town and it is all free of charge.
The tour starts at 7:30PM at the Flatland Coffee Roaster and runs until 9:30PM. To RSVP for the tour please email: mb[dot]events[at]culturedays[dot]ca. Tour venues will remain open from 7:00PM-10:00PM. The Gimli Film Festival in partnership with the Lakeview resort will have a free screening and refreshments in the resort’s Lakeview North room. The Wave tour will host art exhibitions and cultural events at Tara’s room of the resort.
Note: All Nuit Blanche Gimli venues will have a light display around the door of their location. Look for the light - this is Nuit Blanche!

Gimli Film Festival Screening
Join GFF for FREE short films in Lakeview North. Starting at 7PM, films playing until 10:30PM or 11PM. Thank you to Lakeview Resort Gimli / Seagulls Restaurant for FREE popcorn, beverages and snacks. Thank you to NFB for the films: Lonely Boy (Paul Anka story), The Sweater, Neighbours and Log Driver's Waltz. See you there!
Laura Lee Harasym - Mixed Media Artists
Flatland Coffee Roasters will kick off Nuit Blanche Gimli with a special Art Activation and artist talk with Laura Lee Harasym. Flatland Coffee Company is a dedicated tour stop, soak up some cafe culture starting at 6:30PM with the talk starting at 7:30PM.

A-Spire Players presents : The M Word by Alan Ball
“The M Word” – two ambitious executives decide that they are good for each other and proceed to negotiate a future together. Lets "Chalk" Paint at LÎFA Home
LÎFA home will be open from 6pm until 11pm, featuring unique workshops throughout the evening with live music on their porch. Check out the latest craze of furniture makeovers: Chalk-based paint and specialty finishes. The Nuit Blanche Gimli walking tour will stop by for a demo workshop at 8:10pm

Located in the heart of the harbour front, the Gimli Art Club Gallery is home to a diverse group of artisans and their unique works of art. Experience outside exhibits or head inside the Art Club’s doors to “Make your Mark” with your own art. The Art Club will be open from 7 - 10pm for Nuit Blanche with a tour stop at 8:30pm.

Readdit - A Literary Walk Out
Playing on the theme of the trending website Reddit, Kristine Dubois and Cheryl Buhler will present a Literary event, Gimli Style! This Nuit Blanche Gimli tour will stop by Robin's at 8:50pm. Email email@example.com to register for the tour.

Nuit Blanche at The New Iceland Heritage Museum
Artist, Marlene Van Helden, will take you through the journey accompanied by music, and will include the Our Canada Show of new works by WAVE Artists. NIHM is a designated Nuit Blanche Gimli tour stop at 9:10 p.m.

Nuit Blanche Walkabout
After the The New Iceland Heritage Museum the tour will take a scenic walk to the Harbour and then the hotel to enjoy these on-going events!
Floating Art Installation
Stroll down the scenic Gimli Harbour to see something old, something new and something reusable. Nestled among the fishing boats and nautical hobbyists, find a massive Illuminated Viking! Consisting of recycled pop bottles, high tech solar LED lights and formed into a huge floating Viking Boat sculpture. Viking-Illuminated-Gimli-Style! Created by Gimli Canada 150 committee and generously supported by the Canada 150 Fund.
WAVE Tour Finale at the Lakeview Resort
What better way to end a cultural than a luxurious resort and art exhibition? The WAVE tour will host a variety of artists and cultural events at the Lakeview resort’s Tara’s room from 9:00-12:00am. Need to take a load off? Enjoy the lounge or patio at the resort, we will see you there!

Throughout the evening of Nuit Blanche we will animate the street with fantastic musicians. Please look for the buskers at these outdoor locations:
